Free Tackles and Treats Halloween Event Planned in Knoxville October 29 |
Families can meet Tennessee football player Jeremiah Telander at Volunteer Club store |

Young Tennessee football fans have a chance to celebrate Halloween with one of the Volunteers at a free event in Knoxville.
The Volunteer Club plans to host Tackles & Treats on Thursday, October 29, from 5 to 6 p.m. at its store at 6601 Kingston Pike.
Volunteer football player Jeremiah Telander is scheduled to join the family-friendly gathering.
The event is expected to include photo opportunities, Halloween candy, a children's costume contest and giveaways.
Organizers say Telander will help select a costume-contest winner, with an autographed mini helmet among the prizes.
The first 20 attendees who post a photo from the event on social media and tag the club are also eligible for a free hat while supplies last.
For parents looking for a short, accessible Halloween outing, the one-hour schedule offers an option that does not require an all-evening commitment.
Families are encouraged to wear costumes or Tennessee orange and join the festivities.
Giveaways are limited, so arriving early may matter for those hoping to participate.
As with other player appearances, visitors should check for last-minute changes before traveling.
The celebration is another example of how Tennessee athletics connects with local families outside game day. |
